In Joe Biden’s Inaugural Address, he promised the American people unity – pleading, “Today, on this January day, my whole soul is in this: Bringing America together. Uniting our people. And uniting our nation.” Yet, since that very day, it seems as if his whole soul has been more committed to targeting Americans who do not agree with his agenda.  

Summer is starting to wind down, the days are getting shorter, and kids are preparing to head back to school. The school year hasn’t officially started yet, but there’s already been a lesson learned: Prices for school supplies are through the roof.

Over the past year and a half, the Democrats’ legislative agenda in Washington has been to go on a nonstop spending spree with your taxpayer dollars.

This week the Bureau of Economic Affairs confirmed what Americans have been feeling for quite some time – the United States is officially in a recession.

Congress was back in session this week. But rather than taking on the challenges confronting American families – like soaring fuel prices, surging crime, and a worsening border crisis – the Democrat majority spent much of the week engaging in attempts to fearmonger and distract. 

More than a year ago – and long before Russia invaded Ukraine – inflation was already on the rise. While many of us were signaling warnings of potential generation-high inflation even back then, Joe Biden was dismissing those concerns, claiming inflation would be “temporary.”We now know that was clearly a lie intended to deceive the American people.

From sweeping Supreme Court decisions to the deadliest migrant-smuggling tragedy in our nation’s history due to President Biden’s open-border crisis, much has happened since our last Telegram. We will touch on that and more later in this week’s edition, but first, I want to get into a very important Supreme Court ruling that was made last week limiting the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gross overreach.

It’s been a busy week in Washington. This week the Supreme Court released a number of opinions including the final version of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade. Today’s landmark ruling is a historic victory for human rights, this decision paves the way for us to protect all life.
