Many of you likely saw President Biden’s State of the Union address earlier this week. Sadly, the rosy assessment he provided to the millions of Americans watching the speech was very different from the reality most of us are living.

It’s been over three years since the Covid pandemic began, and we’ve come a long way since the beginning of those uncertain times.

It’s no secret that Joe Biden has done everything in his power to stifle American energy production.

While the House wasn’t in session this week, I had a busy week back home. I started the week with seven in-person listening sessions in Vilas, Florence, Forest, Rusk, Polk, Burnett, and Bayfield Counties.

This past Saturday, I was officially sworn into the 118th Congress to represent the Seventh District on your behalf.

I know it’s not Friday, but we’ve got a special edition Telegram lined up for you. Over the weekend, we concluded the vote for the next Speaker of the House after four days and fifteen votes. The result: A House of Representatives that's open, transparent, and accountable to you, the American people.

As we wrap up 2022 with the last Telegram of the year, I want to take time to recap an incredible year.
