I retained my seat on the House Judiciary Committee, which has jurisdiction over key policy issues related to constitutional questions, crime, terrorism, immigration, anti-trust law, the federal judiciary and civil rights. Lawmakers remain in Washington, working on an end-of-year funding package that is unfortunately being held up by a special interest push to force working families across the country to fund bailouts of state and local governments who have strangled their tax base with job-killing lockdowns and spent far too much for far too long.

Three years behind. Due to the current state of our K-12 education system that is how far our children could find themselves academically due to COVID-19 restrictions. The Center on Reinventing Public Education found during the period from March to June, a period that included widespread school closures, only 27 percent of rural school districts required any form of instruction.

Meet with representatives from West Point, Air Force Academy, Naval Academy, Merchant Marine Academy, United States Coast Guard Academy, and ROTC. All ages welcome to attend.

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Rep. Tom Tiffany (WI-07) and Rep. Jim Banks (IN-03) are introducing the Reopen Our Schools Act. This legislation halts a school's federal funding if they refuse to reopen for in-person learning in the fall.
