This past Saturday, I was officially sworn into the 118th Congress to represent the Seventh District on your behalf.

I know it’s not Friday, but we’ve got a special edition Telegram lined up for you. Over the weekend, we concluded the vote for the next Speaker of the House after four days and fifteen votes. The result: A House of Representatives that's open, transparent, and accountable to you, the American people.

As we wrap up 2022 with the last Telegram of the year, I want to take time to recap an incredible year.

It was a busy week in Washington, and I have much to fill you in on in this week’s Telegram. But first, I want to tell you about the Western Caucus Winter Field Tour and Policy Roundtable I attended this past weekend in Las Vegas. 

You may not believe this, but President Biden took steps this week to create oil drilling jobs.

As we approach Thanksgiving, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you. You are the people who keep our communities strong and make America the greatest country in the world, and I am honored to continue serving you in Congress. 

Whether it’s President Biden falsely claiming that Republicans will “make inflation worse” or former President Barack Obama traveling to the Midwest to say that Republicans are “not interested in solving problems,” I want to set the record straight.

Halloween is right around the corner, which means fall leaves, carving pumpkins, and kids dressed up in their favorite costumes to go trick-or-treating.
