Chocolate milk is one step closer to staying in schools after yesterday. The bipartisan amendment, introduced by Tom Tiffany (WI-07), that prevents the Biden administration from banning chocolate milk from schools passed by voice vote and will be included in H.R. 4368, the Agriculture Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2024.

The bill’s author, Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis., said, "The ACRES Act is a bipartisan step in the right direction to combat the wildfire crisis, and I’m thrilled the House passed this commonsense legislation to ensure federal land management agencies are accurately reporting their work in hazardous fuel reduction."
Tiffany, chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee’s federal lands subcommittee, cited NBC News’ reporting when he introduced the bill.

Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis., reaffirmed the committee's respect for the people on the island before he proceeded and asked Sgambelluri for a life lesson based on her experience that all could learn from.
He expounded on the concept of liberty, a word Sgambelluri used in her testimony.
"If you go back to our founding documents, you’ll oftentimes see that our founders have used the term 'liberty' as they use the term 'freedom.' And there really is a distinction because, to me, liberty means freedom. But it also means responsibility for your actions, and that's something we've always done in the United States of America," he told those in attendance. "As I said, earlier, we're imperfect, but we usually take responsibility for actions if we are imperfect at any time."

The bill to rename the post office had to pass through the House and the Senate. It was introduced by Congressman Tom Tiffany. Republican Senator Ron Johnson and Democrat Tammy Baldwin co-sponsored the bill in the Senate. Every Wisconsin lawmaker in the House and Senate supported the bill.

He introduced the Senior Citizens’ Freedom to Work Act, a bill that would repeal the retirement earnings test for beneficiaries that claim early retirement. The 2023 legislation is sponsored by Murphy and Republican Reps. Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin, Diana Harshbarger of Tennessee, Beth Van Duyne of Texas and Claudia Tenney of New York.

The U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday (July 13) passed a defense spending bill that includes an amendment prohibiting the Pentagon from using any map depicting Taiwan as part of China.
The House approved the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for US$886 billion in spending for the Department of Defense. Included in the bill is an amendment proposed by Representative Tom Tiffany dubbed the "honest maps" measure that bars the U.S. Department of Defense from spending funds on maps that portray Taiwan as Chinese territory.

Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin questioned FBI Director Christopher Wray about former Special Counsel John Durham’s report regarding the FBI’s conduct while investigating Donald Trump’s campaign in 2016, with Wray admitting that he agreed with the report’s findings.
Wray was questioned by members of the House Judiciary Committee Wednesday, in a highly-anticipated hearing regarding the FBI’s investigative activities. “In the Durham Report, he said that the FBI failed to uphold strict fidelity to the law, and that predates you. Do you agree with that statement that Mr. Durham made?,” Tiffany asked Wray, to which he responded, “Yes, I do.”

The ACCESS Rural America Act would allow smaller, locally owned broadband providers to streamline the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s registration and reporting requirements.
