Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) introduced a one-page bill on Thursday that would withdraw Congressional approval for the United States to be a member of the World Trade Organization (WTO), an international institution built to promote economic globalism and set standards for how countries do business.

The Midwest has all the ingredients necessary to lead a manufacturing renaissance – rich mineral deposits, vast timber resources, a skilled workforce, and a proud tradition of industrial muscle and innovation. Today, with the right policies and President Trump in office, the Midwest can reclaim its place as a leader in manufacturing and resource development. For decades, U.S. trade policies have hollowed out Midwest manufacturing towns, sending jobs overseas and leaving American workers behind. American farmers and workers can compete head-to-head with anyone in the world – if the rules are fair. Unfortunately, for the last several decades, they haven’t been.

Co-author Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin testified the wolf has more than recovered and needs to be taken off the Endangered Species List. He says wolf management needs to return to the states to protect people, pets, and livestock. “We need to stop the slaughter that is going on in my district, in many districts across the United States and if we don’t, we now have three threats that have been documented to humans in Wisconsin. We’re going to end up with a situation that is going to be regrettable.”

U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany has reintroduced legislation that would eliminate most subsidies for solar and wind energy projects on farm land. The measure is titled Future Agricultural Retention and Management (FARM) Act. Tiffany, R-Minocqua, said he doesn’t want land that is producing food to be taken out of production so it can instead produce energy.

Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis., is introducing legislation on Thursday, shared first with Fox News Digital, to end federal funding of renewable subsidies for wind and solar development on agricultural lands. The bill, titled the Future Agriculture Retention and Management (FARM) Act, would not prevent developers from building wind turbines or solar panels, but rather end the use of federal funds to encourage such projects.

Fifty years ago, the Endangered Species Act was created to protect species on the brink of extinction and put them on the path to recovery. It was a noble effort, but unfortunately, it’s been hijacked by the radical environmental lobby and activist judges who use it as a weapon to block common-sense wildlife management.

"The slaughter continues here in rural America including rural Wisconsin," said Congressman Tom Tiffany, who represents Wisconsin's 7th District. "The wolf numbers are out of control, they need to be delisted, and there needs to be a wolf season. They need to be managed just like any wildlife species."

The Pet and Livestock Protection Act was introduced Jan. 31 by House of Representative members Tom Tiffany (R-Wis.) and Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.). The pair introduced the same bill last session under the Trust the Science Act. This time around, Tiffany said most everyone understands the science, and understands that wolves have surpassed recovery thresholds, so there is no biological basis for wolves to remain on the Endangered Species List (ESL).
