Recently Congressman Tom Tiffany (WI-07) led 10 of his colleagues in sending a letter to Natural Resources Committee Ranking Member Bruce Westerman and Subcommittee on Waters, Oceans, and Wildlife Ranking Member Cliff Bentz urging them to oppose any effort to attach extraneous language prohibiting the purchase, sale, or transport of farmed mink to China-related legislation.

​We are all familiar with the recurring scene in Charles Schulz’s iconic Peanuts cartoon in which Lucy yanks the football away just as Charlie Brown is about to kick it. It’s a good metaphor for the reality we’ve all been living the last 18 months, trying to make sense of the conflicting and often contradictory pandemic “guidance” formulated by Washington bureaucrats.

Three years behind. Due to the current state of our K-12 education system that is how far our children could find themselves academically due to COVID-19 restrictions.
