Congressman Tom Tiffany has sent a letter to the Lac Du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians. He is asking them to remove the roadblocks on four Lac Du Flambeau roads.

He was asked by Rep. Tom Tiffany, Wisconsin Republican, if nonprofits — which are collecting hundreds of millions of dollars to help accommodate the migrants — have offered to pay for some of the care.

"For over two years, the Biden administration has slow-walked oil and gas permits, ultimately driving up energy costs for the American people," said Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis., the chairman of the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Federal Lands. "It doesn’t have to be this way, and I thank Congresswoman Boebert for leading legislation to speed up the permitting process from frivolous lawsuits."

Tiffany said that the Future Agriculture Retention and Management Act, or FARM Act, would eliminate energy tax incentives, which help finance solar panels and wind arrays on agricultural lands. Tiffany said that these tax incentives would lead to the destruction of farm land.
