The co-chair of the House Border Security caucus is raising the alarm about reports of "unattended" ports of entry at the northern border with Canada – even as migrant encounters have increased significantly in recent years. "This information accompanies publicly available reporting on increases in illegal border crossings along the Northern border, including by foreign nationals from countries in Asia and the Middle East," he said, along with Reps. Matt Rosendale, R-Mont., and Tom Tiffany, R-Wis.

A group of Republican lawmakers is urging Secretary of State Antony Blinken to visit Taiwan as he travels to communist China. The lawmakers, led by Rep. Today, Congressman Tom Tiffany (WI-07), joined by seven members of Congress, introduced H.R. 3930, the Milk is Indisputably Liked by Kids Act of 2023 – or MILK Act for short. This legislation would amend the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act to require schools to offer flavored milk under the school lunch program.

The 14 member task force will be equally divided between Democrat and Republican members. Other members of the group will include Reps. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), Ed Case (D-Hawaii), Harriet Hageman (R-Wyo.), Teresa Leger Fernandez (D-N.M.), Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.), Jim Moylan (R-Guam), Melanie Stansbury (D-N.M.), Katie Porter (D-Calif.), Tom Tiffany (R-Wis.), and Rob Wittman (R-Va.).

National Dairy Month has been an annual celebration every June for 86 years now. It started in 1937 as National Milk Month to promote and educate Americans on the benefits of drinking milk.
