Over the past several months we have told you about the blatant abuse of power, politicization, and weaponization going on at our federal agencies under President Joe Biden.

Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis., reaffirmed the committee's respect for the people on the island before he proceeded and asked Sgambelluri for a life lesson based on her experience that all could learn from. He expounded on the concept of liberty, a word Sgambelluri used in her testimony. "If you go back to our founding documents, you’ll oftentimes see that our founders have used the term 'liberty' as they use the term 'freedom.' And there really is a distinction because, to me, liberty means freedom. But it also means responsibility for your actions, and that's something we've always done in the United States of America," he told those in attendance. "As I said, earlier, we're imperfect, but we usually take responsibility for actions if we are imperfect at any time."

The bill to rename the post office had to pass through the House and the Senate. It was introduced by Congressman Tom Tiffany. Republican Senator Ron Johnson and Democrat Tammy Baldwin co-sponsored the bill in the Senate. Every Wisconsin lawmaker in the House and Senate supported the bill.

Over the last eight months in the majority, House Republicans have been working tirelessly to deliver wins to American workers and families.

U.S. Rep. Greg Murphy, R-N.C., wants seniors to keep more of their money. He introduced the Senior Citizens’ Freedom to Work Act, a bill that would repeal the retirement earnings test for beneficiaries that claim early retirement. The 2023 legislation is sponsored by Murphy and Republican Reps. Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin, Diana Harshbarger of Tennessee, Beth Van Duyne of Texas and Claudia Tenney of New York.
