Public safety and security, including the security of America’s border, remains a serious challenge for our nation. This week, I joined a fact-finding trip to the US-Mexico border with a group of fellow lawmakers, and can report to you that the situation there is even more dire than we expected.

It has been a busy month. After the May 12th special election, I traveled to Washington, D.C. with my family, where I was sworn in on May 19th to represent our community in Congress. I am excited to succeed Sean Duffy in this position and committed to being a strong voice for Wisconsin’s Northwoods in the U.S. House.
