Rep. Tiffany Hosts Telephone Town Hall with Sheriff Scott Parks

WAUSAU, WI – Congressman Tom Tiffany (WI-07) joined by special guest Marathon County Sheriff Scott Parks will host a telephone town hall on Wednesday, August 24th, at 7 PM CST to discuss solutions to the crime wave sweeping our nation, as well as the illicit drugs that are pouring over our southern border and poisoning our loved ones.

“Wisconsinites want our streets to be safe, our border to be secure, and criminals to be behind bars; yet, over the past year, soft-on-crime prosecutors and President Biden’s open border crisis have fueled a crime epidemic in our country,” said Congressman Tiffany. “Sheriff Parks and I look forward to hearing from you as we discuss solutions to ensure a safer America.”

“For 42 years I have served in the law enforcement profession working in the following roles: Patrol Deputy, Undercover Investigator, Detective, and Lieutenant, before becoming the Chief Deputy and Sheriff. I have seen a multitude of changes occurring in the criminal justice system. The current trends are not working, especially for safeguarding our law-abiding citizen’s expectations,” said Sheriff Scott Parks.
