The Tiffany Telegram: September 26, 2025
Dear Friend,
I want to start this edition of the Tiffany Telegram with some good news.
While deportations have been happening across America, yesterday brought action right here in Wisconsin. Federal law enforcement arrested 21 illegal aliens in our state, including nine suspected of sexual assault and child trafficking.
I know that this wasn’t the only news from Wisconsin this week, but it is news that will make our state safer and ensure that jobs in our great state are going to hardworking Wisconsinites. I will continue working alongside President Trump to keep Wisconsin streets and communities safe.
I also want to take a moment to reinforce my commitment to you. Serving you in Congress is an honor and a privilege I take seriously.
So far this year, my team has returned over $17 million back to constituents. Whether it’s VA benefits, Social Security, Medicare, IRS refunds, passports, or more, we are here to help you.
We recently helped Robert in New Richmond with his Social Security back pay where he wrote, “For close to a year, I had been waiting for this resolution, feeling increasingly anxious and hopeless. After exhausting all typical avenues, I reached out to the Congressman’s office. From that moment, they took on my case with immediate and remarkable effectiveness. After nearly a year of waiting, it seemed like all it took was their involvement for the situation to be resolved almost overnight. Please accept this message as a heartfelt 5-star review.” This has been our biggest year yet for returning results, and we will not slow down.
As we face a Democrat-led government shutdown, remember this: the House passed a clean, bipartisan budget bill last week to keep services running smoothly for veterans, seniors, and all Americans.
Unfortunately, Senate Democrats have chosen a different path. They are pushing a government shutdown because they are demanding that you, the taxpayer, foot the bill for free healthcare for illegal aliens and the liberal media.
I hope Senator Baldwin will come to her senses and put Wisconsinites first. Because right now, her priority seems to be illegal aliens, not American taxpayers.
Thanks for starting your weekend with us. I will keep fighting to make Wisconsin safe, strong, and free. We hope you enjoy this week’s edition of the Tiffany Telegram.
Sincerely,
Tom Tiffany
Member of Congress

I joined Grace Stanke, Wausau’s former Miss America, and Americans for Prosperity at a roundtable on lowering energy costs yesterday. We must continue to speed up permitting and expand nuclear energy to make life more affordable for all Wisconsinites.
Ending UN-acceptable waste
This week, President Trump addressed the scandal-plagued and hopelessly corrupt United Nations – where he confronted world leaders attending the annual General Assembly with several hard truths. Perhaps his most powerful indictment of the UN’s globalist agenda was pointing out that, for years, the UN has been funding the mass migrant invasion of our country. That’s crazy, right? Well, here is something that you might find even crazier: You, the American taxpayer, are picking up the tab for roughly a quarter of the UN’s bloated budget – more than any other country on earth. That’s why I’ve been working for years to defend American sovereignty by defunding the UN, which, in addition to bankrolling the tidal wave of migrants that flooded into the US during the Biden administration, has even been caught red-handed financing terrorism. I’ve also targeted the UN’s shady co-conspirators, like the World Health Organization – which President Trump pulled us out of on his first day in office, and the World Trade Organization – which he has also taken aim at. We may have faced an uphill battle during former President Biden’s term, but with President Trump back in the White House, the days of America bowing to shady international bureaucracies appear to finally be over.
The truth about the OBBB: Week 8
On top of the critical education provisions, rural health expansion, Medicaid preservation, and more that we have covered in recent weeks, the Working Families Tax Cut also boosts made-in-America manufacturing and incentivizes companies to develop, invest, and grow in the United States. Under these provisions, Republicans eliminated taxes on auto loan interest for new cars made in the U.S. and allowed for full expensing on research and development, capital investments, and new factories. When Democrats voted against this legislation, they made it clear that they would rather ship American jobs overseas than empower workers and companies right here at home. However, we will not let the United States get left behind in the race to innovate. Republicans in the House, Senate, and White House fought to ensure that America will lead the world in manufacturing, and it’s working. Companies like Hyundai, Apple, Eli Lilly, Honda, and more have already announced their intentions to boost domestic manufacturing. This will bring jobs back to America, and ensure we can compete with Communist China in the 21st century.
Stopping the abuse of our legal system
Time and time again, bad actors have used frivolous litigation to abuse our legal system, forcing employers to divert money from daily operations to cover legal expenses, ultimately running them out of business. On top of this, in 2022, our tort system cost the American taxpayer nearly $529 billion, which averaged to $4,200 per household. That means that whether or not you’re the one being sued, every single American is a victim of this lawsuit abuse. To fix this, I co-led the Lawsuit Abuse Reduction Act with Representative Mike Collins (GA-10) to put accountability back in the courtroom by making sure those who file frivolous suits pay the price. It also protects innocent small businesses that can’t afford to fight these claims in court. I look forward to holding rogue trial lawyers responsible and delivering necessary reforms that work for the American people – not against them.
